Cirith Ungol - King of the Dead CS

Back on cassette now! We couldn't be more thrilled to be doing this special tape reissue, officially licensed from Metal Blade Records with the band's blessing, of one of our favorite albums of all time. This tape reissue features an extensive layout courtesy of Obscure Visions complete with lyrics, pictures, and more. 

Personal note from Brandon- I have had a massive, oversized poster of this album's gorgeous Whelan artwork framed in a place of honor on my wall since college that has followed me across several apartments, houses, and an interstate move.

I love all Cirith Ungol material, from the earliest demos to the modern albums, but this one holds a special place in my heart. It is Ungol at their darkest, weirdest, and slowest. The argument can be made that in a way this album was epic doom before there was epic doom; regardless of what you call it, it's pure magic, and some days I would call this my favorite album of all time. On any day I would tell you it's one of the best. I can't believe we got to do a reissue of it.
