Originally formed under the name Crestfallen in 2020, Exxûl is the first and only band from Québec to blend 90s epic doom metal and 80s US Power Metal influences through duelling guitar and bass shredding, sinister riffs, raw-edged yet melodic vocals and myriad tempo changes, blurring the lines between two otherwise diverging subgenres. This live rehearsal tape showcases the band’s raw energy as well as material that will be on the band’s upcoming debut full length album on top of a Manowar cover. Exxûl was founded by members of Atramentus, Zeicrydeus, Noor, Chthe’ilist & First Fragment.
