Tabernacle emerged in 2019, with Rayner on guitars and vocals, Jasper on bass, and Shawn on drums. Their 3-track demo, Terror in Thrace, dropped in 2021, and immediately made waves in the underground. Using this momentum, Tabernacle began playing live shows and working on new songs that would eventually find their way into the first album, The Iron Tabernacle
