Tentation - Prémices CD

Formed in Torreilles, the members of Tentation - vocalist Patrice Darquos Rôhée, guitarist Guillaume Dousse, bassist Guillaume Guix Pastor and drummer Laurent Lole Metivier - were drawn to the city's medieval history. Torreilles provided the ideal setting to create vintage heavy metal in the form of early Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Venom and to take cues from French bands ADX and Sortilege. The band kept the French flavor by opting to sing vocals in it's native tongue. That singular approach led to Tentation's signing with Gates of Hell for the 2021 release of Le Berceau Des Dieux. Prémices allows Tentation to turn the page on it's early days and look ahead toward the future. The onset of 2023 has found the band thinking about the follow-up to Le Berceau Des Dieux. For now, though, metal fans across the globe have the opportunity to revel in the early days of one of the French metal scene's most unique bands.
