Zoetrope - A Life of Crime LP

A thrash metal band from Chicago (Illinois), Zoetrope was formed in 1976 around Barry Stern (vocals, drums), Kevin Michael Rasofsky (guitar), and Calvin Humphrey (bass), soon joined by a second guitarist, Ken Black. The first single was released in 1980. Following several demos, the group was signed by Combat Records and recorded their first LP, Amnesty, in 1985. Its successor, A Life of Crime produced by Randy Burns (Megadeth, Nuclear Assault), was born in 1987.
